Abstract

The current historical and cultural context has accelerated pedagogical reflection on the impact of the pandemic emergency on learning processes, necessitating ongoing adaptation. Based on this premise, this contribution proposes an innovative reflection on one of the structural and foundational aspects of the pedagogical device - temporality in education - through a critical lens that differs from the most traditional educational paradigms. Two unusual cultural elaborations of temporality, Kronos and Kairos, will be presented with the goal of redefining and rethinking the concept of time, which should be promoted authentically, a time "debt" inspired by kairology. Based on these developments, the contribution advances an innovative perspective to reconsider a slow time of educating and learning in nature.
