Abstract

Narration is a powerful pedagogical tool that can enrich the educational experience by weaving together the often-fragmented threads of diverse life stories and rediscovering the beauty of existence in relation to others. This is where its “ecological” essence resides, fostering a quest for relationships and connections that enables the development of a systemic understanding of phenomena and processes. This paper presents the outcomes of the project “EcoNarrazioni: Atelier formativi per la cura educative” (June-December 2023), which engaged one hundred teachers from schools in the city of Ragusa in the creation of eco-narrative pathways. The article explores the project's theoretical and methodological framework and offers a critical reflection on the narrative practices employed and their impact on eco-critical thinking.
