Abstract – The relationship between young people and future is a fundamental issue of contemporary pedagogical reflection. In our time, fear of the future is more pronounced than in previous times because of the greater uncertainty and precariousness that characterize societies. The feeling of concern, anxiety and anguish affects, albeit in different ways, both the adult generation and the young generation with inescapable educational implications. The contribution proposes a brief reflection on the topic of education for the future, moving from the crises that cross and characterize the present, identifying in the linguistic, communicative and design deeducations, clear elements of defuturization.
