Abstract

Abstract The article addresses the issue of teacher professionalism and the role of educational research in the processes that oversee the transition from a functional perspective of training to a cultural stance of professional development. Some avenues for pedagogical exploration of these processes will be explored through the discussion, with reference to the connections between research and training and the paradigms of adult learning, of the genesis and evolution of a system developed within the framework of a project aimed at preventing and combating school dropout.
