Abstract

Abstract – This paper describes some of the results of a research-training course, from December 2021 to February 2023, for educators, teachers and pedagogists of early childhood education of Cesena. This research conducted using a mix-methods methodology and an ecological-social approach of phenomenological, metacognitive-critical - reflective type, has the goal of investigating the present resources, needs, and criticalities, about the design to the inclusion for early childhood and children with disabilities or uncomfortable conditions. Despite some critical issues, the research shows that the launch of targeted and specific programs to improve the quality of learning for all children, a training path and support for all educators and teachers, and the support towards a universal design according to the UDL approach, using three innovative areas, allows to improve the quality of relations within the operating group, with parents and to raise the quality levels of the education and training system.
