Abstract

AbstractThe paper describes a training-research experience undergone with 114 students of the I level Secondary School of the SEN course, centered on narration, especially the fairy tale, as a mediator to promote interaction between peers, sociability, recognition of differences, improvement of inclusive cultures and practices. The starting assumption is that the narrative approach helps to improve the classroom climate, to strengthen self-awareness, self-efficacy and affects the ability to face difficulties and self-regulate emotions. After an introductory reflection on the themes of narration in the training field and as a mediator for inclusion, the training-research path and the results achieved are described. The feedback from the trainees showed a general appreciation of the training course also with regard to the usability of what was acquired in the daily life of the teaching profession.
