Abstract

The article addresses some constitutive elements of the current conflict between life and capital starting from the ecofeminist perspective and its main contributions. In various parts of the world in the last fifty years, it is often women who have brought “rising-up” into the public dimension against environmental disasters and for the protection of injured and mistreated territories. The ecofeminist paths show an alliance between female bodies and natural bodies, a possibility of action, struggle and conflict. It is a “posture” that allows generative conflicts, capable of putting life and the care of common goods at the center. We also find this same posture in the working paths of women and men who, moved by a profound ecological vision, seek meaning and autonomy in work. All these paths see an important female participation and are inspired by partnerships between humans and non-humans, by new attunements of the living beyond relations of domination.
