Abstract

The theoretical contribution was developed within the POT project (Orientation and Tutoring Plans) financed by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research and presents a clarification related to the conceptual framework of a future empirical research on educational activities aimed at promoting the development of self-orientation competence for academic students. A conceptual analysis of some elements related to the didactic activities and to the development of this competence will be proposed, focusing attention on the system of objectives and on some specific aspects that concern the form of some learning objectives and their content. Finally, possible developments of the study will be identified, which highlight the importance of making explicit the theoretical frame for the didactic activities of self-orientation and the learning mechanisms that the didactic activities can activate to promote the processes of change.
