Abstract

The first step to take to design educational practices that protect the construction of a free gender identity is to recognize an educational emergency in this topic. The contribution interweaving different stimuli, assigns a new value to institutions and educational staff, emerging from a concept that sees them as mere reproducers of crystallized knowledge. Through the formula of "educating to gender" we focus on a school that guides young people in "undoing and creating gender," in this context the contribution also focuses on compensating for the deficiencies of the official "history", a key place , in which past models have always been proposed in an anti-democratic vision of social participation processes.
