Abstract

Today, more than ever, our society needs to promote an affective education since the first seasons of life. As a biological and spiritual seed for man, affectivity is capable to shape an integral education. It contemplates both rational and emotional aspects of a person who grows together with things and people belonging to his own world. However, its maximum expression regards the relation between the cognitive dimension and the ethical-value component present in each of us. In this regard it is no longer enough developing marked ethical and intellectual skills if in the meantime the person has not been adequately trained in emotional and relational skills. This paper, in the light of the analysis of the “Farlottine” context, seeks to present a model of affective education that “embraces” a very precise idea of an educable person that the school wants to form.
