Abstract

In Western society, especially in the last decade, there has been an alarming increase in the number of children hit by educational poverty. This situation is fueled by multiple social factors that amplify the weaker subjects’ deprivation about their opportunities of learning and becoming active protagonists of their own future. It is urgent to rethink the educational system which, accepting the challenge of fighting poverty, involves the whole society in particular strengthening a significant partnership between school and families in a perspective of cooperation and circularity. The contribution asks about which particular features should distinguish the school community since it can be placed as a conscious and intentional nursery constructing and promoting the relationships of mutual recognition and integration, full feeling the growth of the minors in the sign of human ecology.
