Abstract

The rapid historical and cultural changes have caused an increase in disorientation and confusion in both parents and teachers with regards to educational guidelines which are agreed on and shared. This has resulted in lack of communication between the two groups. A possible consequence of this "defensive exclusion" is the "triangulation of the child", who ends up being simultaneously overwhelmed by the needs of both groups and is called upon to regulate their conflict. In this regard, the assessment of attachment is proposed as a possible methodology to provide information on the behavior of the child in the interpersonal context and on his emotional and relational needs with the aim to bring adults closer to the area of proximal development. This procedure could suggest new strategies to improve the quality of the relationship with key figures and support parents and teachers in a cooperative relationship, in the interest of the minor.
