<i>L'esemplificazione omerica nei</i> Remedia Amoris di Ovidio

Abstract

In his erotodidactic poem Remedia amoris, Ovid works out in elegiac manner the myth of Agamemnon, Aegistus, Achilles (from the Iliad and greek tragedy), using it as exemplum of erotic behaviour: he plays with his sources with impertinence and ironic detachment, introducing mythical characters as middle class people.
