Abstract

Studying a particular performance, which we could define "writing performance", is my paper's aim. In which way, with which constraints and aims does an oral singer give to writing a part of the poetic tradition he belongs to? My analysis will be focused on Hesiod poems which, due to the fact they are so different among each other, could be considered a good base on which to build case histories
