Separare e unire: parole del sacro nel diritto romano. Una riflessione

Abstract

In the article are examined the history and the etymology of fas, ius, pontifex, sacer in order to describe importance and characteristics of these words in Roman law, according to a perspective which values their potential capacity of “create real objects” and to connect or separate them.
