Abstract

To initiate a discussion about various levels of technological integration that have invested the contemporary scene, this paper tries to define the general aesthetic frame of the term "composition". The composition can be described as a combination of events and relations dealing with technology, they overlap and compose themselves in order to determinate a "system-opera", no longer based on the form but on the fluent circulation of tensions and intensities, visual and sounding, that pass through the scene environment, and determine it. The focus point of this paper is that, as a result of the neo-technological intervention, have to change the point of view and the methodology for looking at the scene. In this sense we have a series of modifications that influence the performer's perception as well as that one of the spectator, and also a series of variations that, starting from the concept of action - as the motor of the scene - lead to the "situation", the "event", the "effect", and from "representation" to "transformability", delineating the passage from an aesthetic of objects to an aesthetic of fluxes. In this reference form, the composition is a visible/invisible tension that is manifested on the scene as a magnetic field.
